Nicole Ohme grew up in Germany and has lived in
Switzerland, Belgium, New York, Chicago, and
Istanbul.  Nicole studied nursing in Germany, was
licenced as a massage therapist in Switzerland and
graduated from a dance academy in Belgium.  She has
performed various forms of movement ranging from
acrobatics to ballroom dance and performance art to
modern dance.  Nicole's passion for movement and
health brought her to yoga.  Since her certification over
10 years ago at OM Yoga NYC, she has been leading
yoga teacher trainings and yoga workshops all over
the world.  With her vast experience and knowledge of
how the body works, Nicole has an amazing ability
to motivate and inspire her students.   Her classes are warm and challenging, nurturing,
    invigorating, informative and flowing.
Partner Yoga allows two or more people to transform traditional poses into those which are created by more than one
participant, and which are mutually beneficial for all those creating the pose.  You will discover poses you have never done
nor been able to accomplish on your own.  Partner Yoga is practiced by two friends, acquaintances, or strangers, and not
necessarily only by life-mates.  So find a partner and explore the possibilities!

This form of yoga is for all levels of yoga practitioners, from novice to the seasoned yogi, who are interested in increasing
fitness, releasing tension, strengthening relationships, and having a good time.  The practice of Partner Yoga involves physical
poses, appropriate touch, conscious breathing, humor and play.  It enhances strength, flexibility and stability through
    counterbalance, assistance and alignment.

Partner Yoga postures utilize the forms and principles of individual postures while incorporating the presence of another to
deepen the impact of the pose.  There is no giver or receiver in a posture, so all partners are fully engaged in their own
experience.  While one partner is in Forward Bend, the other could be in Back Bend.  Unlike partner-assisted yoga, where only
one person is actually doing the yoga, Partner Yoga engages both partners.
